In May of this year, the work of the late, great Alexander McQueen will feature in an exhibit at New York's Metropolitan Muesum entitled Savage Beauty. A noteworthy inclusion is this gown from his Spring/Summer '07 collection, fashioned from a multitude of genuine blooms.
Representative of his flair for the dramatic - and arguably, his untimely demise - the piece is to be to showcased in a bell jar, with the flowers gradually withering over the course of the exhibition.
