Five Green Queens & Jean

May 9th to 15th of this year marks the first ever Wear Irish Fashion Week, a campaign spearheaded by designer Eilis Boyle. Speaking of the initiative on the official facebook page Boyle said:

'When we read about Eat Only Irish Week (also this week),
the creative community of Ireland decided to come together
to promote Irish Design and to encourage everyone to join us
by wearing locally made or designed products.'
  
For the week that's in it, my favourite all-Irish trendsetter is Wicklow born Róisín Murphy - former frontwoman of Moloko - who was channelling all things avant garde back when Gaga et al. were mere pipsqueaks. Case in point:
