Possibly the only thing of note to emerge from this weekend's MTV Movie Awards - aside from
Gary Busey in a giant hamster ball - were Reese Witherspoon's refreshingly frank comments as to the current state of the star-making machine. After being presented with a Generation Award (her thirty-five years rendering her long in the tooth, seemingly), she had this to say:
I get it .... it's cool to be a bad girl, but it is
possible to make it in Hollywood without doing
a reality show. When I came up in this business,
if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed..
